"I would like to say, that if it were not for having sedation, I would not have moved forward with my need for dental work. I was reasonably faithful with keeping up with my exams, but for some reason, I began to have more and more fear of going back to have any kind of work done. I knew that I would have to have my teeth cleaned, before I could have any work done and I had experienced a frightening experience at a cleaning where I felt like I was drowning. That ended my voluntary visits to the dentist office."
Video: Sue Discusses How Sedation Dentistry was Life ChangingSue has always hated going to the dentist, but recently when she needed some work done she decided to visit our office. Although she still gets a little jittery before her treatment, she discusses how a sedation has helped her comfortably go through her treatments. She recommends a form of sedation to eliminate some of the fear and anxiety that others may suffer from when visiting the dentist.
"I overheard a conversation where a friend told someone about how she had no fear of the dentist, because she had sedation for it, and I knew that would be something that I should look into. More time went by and after a while I knew that my teeth needed to be taken care of, so I contacted your office, and was assured that my dental work could be taken care of in one or two visits."
"It was all easier than I might have imagined and everything was taken care of as promised. After it was over, my teeth were a bit sensitive for a few days, but all of that was short lived. I have been back for cleanings that are done in a way that I do not have water squirting in my mouth while the cleaning is going on. I am more comfortable with that and can even manage that without sedation. That is a huge step forward for me. It is all due to the gentle and comfortable atmosphere in your office. I thank you all for that." —Diane W.
