Dr Hirshfield and the team at Lakeview dental are great. They fit me right in the next day for a cracked cap and took care of it.
I had a very good visit with Dr.Hirschfield. He took plenty of time to review my dental records and explain his approach to dental care.
The Porcelain Veneers Treatment Process
Veneers are a quick and effective smile makeover option.
How Long Do Veneers Last?
Brush
Brush your teeth twice a day with a soft-bristled toothbrush.
Toothpaste
Use sensitive or gel formula toothpaste; avoid whitening or abrasive toothpastes that can scratch the surface of your veneers over time.
Floss
Floss your teeth at least once daily.
Exams
Attend dental exams and professional cleanings every six months.
Avoid
Avoid bad habits such as using your teeth to open bottles or biting on your fingernails.
"Thanks to Everyone for a Positive Dental Experience"
My experience at lake view dental was incredible. The staff was extremely helpful and patient and Dr. Hirschfield went above and beyond my expectations. My anxiety and fear of dentists has subsided due to the friendliness and down to earth atmosphere this dental office offers.
Dr. Hirshfield and Nicole went over their findings after a cleaning regarding a tooth that needed work and ultimately, a crown. The entire procedure was explained to me in terms I could understand, and when I arrived for the prep visit, it was an excellent experience. No pain, no problems, and the temporary that was placed was comfortable immediately. Thanks to everyone for a positive dental experience, you rock!
Crowns vs. Porcelain Veneers
The Front Teeth
Patients should have dental crowns placed if the front teeth are not strong and healthy enough to support veneers. For example, if you have large fillings or a significant portion of the tooth has become worn or chipped, crowns may be a better option.
The Back Teeth
Veneers are strictly a cosmetic dentistry treatment, so they are never used on the back teeth. If we need to improve the appearance or health of the pre-molars or molars, the placement of crowns or composite bonding material are more suitable options.
